Help Kids Start the School Year Strong
This back-to-school event supplies essentials that go beyond a backpack. With the help of dedicated volunteers, kids shop for back-to-school outfits that make them feel confident and prepared for a new school year.
On Saturday, August 2, 2025, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Redlands-Riverside, in partnership with Kohl’s, will host our annual Back-to-School Shopping Event. This meaningful initiative directly supports local children across the Greater Redlands-Riverside area—many of whom face significant economic challenges. With nearly 90% of the families we serve living at or below the poverty line, the need for essential school supplies and clothing remains critical.
Our goal this year is to provide 125 kids with $200 Kohl’s gift cards to shop for the back-to-school essentials that go beyond just a backpack—clothes, shoes, and confidence.
