Spring Break Camp

Spring into Art!

This Spring Break, creativity takes center stage at our Hansberger Clubhouse! Join us for two immersive weeks of hands-on artistic exploration designed to inspire imagination, build confidence, and introduce youth to the exciting world of visual arts.

Week One 3/23 - 3/27: Art Fundamentals

Campers will dive into the core principles of art — including line, color theory, shape, texture, composition, and technique. Through guided instruction and creative experimentation, participants will develop foundational skills while producing original works of art. From drawing and painting to mixed media projects, this week is all about building artistic confidence and learning the “why” behind great art.

Week Two 3/30 - 4/3: Art Around the World

Creativity knows no borders. During Week Two, campers will explore artistic traditions and cultural expressions from around the globe. Each day highlights a different region, artistic style, or historical influence, allowing youth to experience global diversity through hands-on projects. Campers will expand their cultural awareness while discovering new materials, techniques, and perspectives.

In addition to daily art enrichment, campers will enjoy sports and fitness activities, team-building games, and structured recreation. Nutritious hot breakfast and lunch are provided each day, along with snacks.

Drop-in Availability: Space is limited. To ensure space is available for a drop-in day please call ahead the day before to register.

Summer Camp

Join us for a summer filled with fun, learning, and exploration at the Boys & Girls Clubs! Summer camp at the Club is six action-packed weeks, each built around a fun weekly theme that guides the activities, crafts, and spirit days. Kids enjoy a variety of engaging experiences in a safe, supportive environment, with something new to look forward to every week.

Our camp rate covers everything—weekly field trips, breakfast, lunch, and snacks—making it easy for families and exciting for kids. Whether exploring new interests or just having a blast with friends, summer at the Club is all about making memories.

Past 2025 Summer Camp Weekly Themes & Field Trips

Water days: Campers will also visit the Burrage Mansion for program activities and water play from 1 pm - 5:30 pm: Tuesdays for Grades TK–2 and Thursdays for Grades 3–5. There is no pickup from the Burrage Mansion. If you would like your Camper not to participate in water day, pickup must be arranged before 1 pm, as all staff will be attending the trip.

Spirit Days will be every Wednesday and will match each week’s theme.

Week 1 (6/16-6/20)*: Travel Around the World
Campers will “visit” a new country each day through crafts, games, and cultural activities. Get your passports ready for a global adventure!
Field Trip: Harkins Theater – Watch Elio (TK- 1st grade)

Week 2 (6/23-6/27): World Cup – Soccer Week
It’s all about soccer! Each morning from 9 AM to 12 PM, campers will attend a special soccer camp at Redlands Sports Park, facilitated by Challenger Sports, where they’ll learn foundational skills through fun, age-appropriate coaching.
Field Trip: California Science Center (2nd - 5th grade)
Teen Trip: San Clemente Beach Trip

Week 3 (6/30-7/3)*: Party in the USA
Celebrate all things red, white, and blue with classic American games, music, and a festive Fourth of July-style spirit.
Field Trip: Bowlero (All ages)
Teen Trip: Castle Park | Cost $20

Week 4 (7/7-7/11): Carnival Week**
Step right up for a week of carnival fun! Campers will enjoy games, face painting, prizes, and a carnival day full of surprises.
Field Trip: Medieval Times (3rd -5th Grade)
Teen Trip: E Sports at U of R

Week 5 (7/14-7/18): Career Week**
Campers will explore exciting future paths through hands-on activities, guest visits, and creative role-play centered around different careers.
Field Trip: Dodger Game (4th Grade - Teens)

Week 6 (7/21-7/25): Luau & Farewell Party
We’re wrapping up summer with a tropical twist! Campers will celebrate with games, dancing, and a special farewell Luau at the Clubhouse.
No field trip this week.
Teen Trip: Garner Holt Tour

*Closed for observation of holidays on 6/19 for Juneteenth and 7/4 for 4th of July.
Field trips may be subject to change. Teens may have alternative trips designed for their age group.

Camper must come 3 days a week to attend field trips.

Winter Camp

This December, give your child a safe, engaging place to spend their days at our Winter Camp—packed with learning, fun, and adventure. Taking place between the Christmas and New Year holidays, our program welcomes everyone: first-time campers, returning pros, and those who haven’t visited in a while.

When the weathers outside is frightful, the club is so delightful!

One simple camp rate covers everything—activity materials, breakfast, HOT lunch, and snacks—so you can focus on your day while your child enjoys games, crafts, and curated, semi-competitive sports in a fun and supportive environment.

Winter camp falls between the Christmas and New Year holiday!

Winter Camp at the Club brings joy, learning, and active play to every day of break. Week 1: Dec 22nd, 23rd, * 26th

Multi-Sport Basics & Play

This week introduces kids to the fundamentals of several popular sports through fun drills and general play. Members build confidence, stay active, and discover what they enjoy most—all while practicing teamwork and sportsmanship.


Week 2: Dec 29th, 30th, * Jan 2nd

Ground Hockey Week

Kids dive into the fast-paced fun of ground hockey, learning stick handling, passing, movement, and strategy. Whether they’re new to the sport or already love it, this week keeps them moving, laughing, and working together.


Week 3: Jan 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th

Flag Football & Super Bowl Celebration

The final week brings the excitement of flag football, with drills, friendly games, and skill-building challenges. Camp wraps up with a Super Bowl party where kids wear their favorite sports jersey and celebrate their hard work from all three weeks.

How do I apply for a scholarship/financial assistance for summer camp?

  • Go to Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Redlands-Riverside Membership Parent Portal at https://bgcgreaterredlands-riverside.my.site.com/V2/s/

  • Log in or Create an account

  • Go to Programs and select "Summer Camp"

  • Select "Enroll" on each week you would like. Select which of your household members you would like to enroll. Click “Next” to continue.

  • Under Questions, ensure the box "Would you like to apply for financial assistance?" has a check mark. (if this is not checked you will not be able to apply for FA/Scholarships)

  • Answer the Financial Assistance Questions and complete your registration.

  • Select “Skip” at the stored accounts section and select "Pay at Club" at checkout for your membership.

  • After you register, return to your account.

  • Go to the “Forms” section of the Parent Portal

  • Under Forms Requiring Action, select “Fill Out Form” for Financial Assistance Application

  • Answer the Financial Assistance Questions

  • Under the "File Upload" tab, attach a copy of your most recent tax return.

  • Click Submit to finish the application

Campers should bring

  • Snacks and meals are provided, but campers can bring their preferred snacks or meals.

What are Camp hours?

Camp hours at the Hansberger Clubhouse are 7am - 6pm.

What does a day at camp look like?

Activities and times vary by age groups. Days with fieldtrips will have different schedules.

I need to cancel my camp registration. Can I get a refund?

We do not offer refunds for camp registrations. However, the amount paid can be applied as a credit to your Boys & Girls Club account for use toward future programs or services.

When is payment due?

Payment is due in advance for each week your child is attending camp:

  • Payment is due 10 days before the start date of camp.

Full payment is due 10 days prior to the start date of camp. Registrations not paid in full by this deadline may be canceled, and the camper’s spot may be released to a family on the waitlist.
