6 Weeks of Summer Camp

Join us for a summer filled with fun, learning, and exploration at the Boys & Girls Clubs! Summer camp at the Club is six action-packed weeks, each built around a fun weekly theme that guides the activities, crafts, and spirit days. Kids enjoy a variety of engaging experiences in a safe, supportive environment, with something new to look forward to every week.

Our camp rate covers everything—weekly field trips, breakfast, lunch, and snacks—making it easy for families and exciting for kids. Whether exploring new interests or just having a blast with friends, summer at the Club is all about making memories.

Weekly Themes & Field Trips

Spirit Days will be every Wednesday and will match each week’s theme.

Campers will also visit the Burrage Mansion for program activities and water play from 12pm - 5:30pm: Tuesdays for Grades TK–2 and Thursdays for Grades 3–5.

Week 1 (6/16-6/20)*: Travel Around the World
Campers will “visit” a new country each day through crafts, games, and cultural activities. Get your passports ready for a global adventure!
Field Trip: Harkins Theater – Watch Elio (TK & Elementary ages)

Week 2 (6/23-6/27): World Cup – Soccer Week
It’s all about soccer! Each morning from 9 AM to 12 PM, campers will attend a special soccer camp at Redlands Sports Park, facilitated by Challenger Sports, where they’ll learn foundational skills through fun, age-appropriate coaching.
Field Trip: California Science Center (All ages)

Week 3 (6/30-7/3)*: Party in the USA
Celebrate all things red, white, and blue with classic American games, music, and a festive Fourth of July-style spirit.
Field Trip: Bowlero (All ages)

Week 4 (7/7-7/11): Carnival Week
Step right up for a week of carnival fun! Campers will enjoy games, face painting, prizes, and a carnival day full of surprises.
Field Trip: Medieval Times (3rd Grade & up)

Week 5 (7/14-7/18): Career Week
Campers will explore exciting future paths through hands-on activities, guest visits, and creative role-play centered around different careers.
Field Trip: Dodger Game (4th Grade & up)

Week 6 (7/21-7/25): Luau & Farewell Party
We’re wrapping up summer with a tropical twist! Campers will celebrate with games, dancing, and a special farewell Luau at the Clubhouse.
No field trip this week.

*Closed for observation of holidays on 6/19 for Juneteenth and 7/4 for 4th of July.
Field trips may be subject to change. Teens may have alternative trips designed for their age group.

Boys & Girls Club is partnering with Vision To Learn to provide vision services this summer! Students will first receive a vision screening which will identify if your child needs an eye exam. Vision To Learn’s mobile vision clinic will then visit your student’s summer program and, if needed, provide an eye exam and glasses.

You can have your child participate in the Vision To Learn program. The routine eye exam and glasses are provided at no cost. Students will first receive a vision screening from a Vision To Learn clinician. The Vision To Learn mobile vision clinic will provide your child with a routine eye exam, conducted by a licensed optometrist. Results will be shared with you. If needed, your child will pick out glasses frames. Glasses will be delivered 3-4 weeks later.

FAQs about Summer Camp

How do I apply for a scholarship/financial assistance?

  • Go to Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Redlands-Riverside Membership Parent Portal at https://bgcgreaterredlands-riverside.my.site.com/V2/s/

  • Log in or Create an account

  • Go to Programs and select "Summer Camp"

  • Select "Enroll" on each week you would like. Select which of your household members you would like to enroll. Click “Next” to continue.

  • Under Questions, ensure the box "Would you like to apply for financial assistance?" has a check mark. (if this is not checked you will not be able to apply for FA/Scholarships)

  • Answer the Financial Assistance Questions and complete your registration.

  • Select “Skip” at the stored accounts section and select "Pay at Club" at checkout for your membership.

  • After you register, return to your account.

  • Go to the “Forms” section of the Parent Portal

  • Under Forms Requiring Action, select “Fill Out Form” for Financial Assistance Application

  • Answer the Financial Assistance Questions

  • Under the "File Upload" tab, attach a copy of your most recent tax return.

  • Click Submit to finish the application

What should my camper bring?

Campers should bring

  • Backpack

  • Refillable water bottle

  • Water play days (see weeks & themes): sunblock, a change of clothes, and shoes

  • Snacks and meals are provided, but campers can bring their preferred snacks or meals.

What does a day at camp look like?

7:00 - 8:30am : Zones in Games room

8:30 - 9am : Breakfast

9 - 10am : STEM

10 - 11am : Arts & Crafts

11 -12pm : Triple Play/Sports

12 - 1pm : Lunch

1 - 2pm : Quiet Times/Zones

2 - 3pm : Project Learn

3 - 3:30pm : Snack

3:30 - 4pm : Outside Play

4 - 5pm : Staff Choice

5 - 6pm : Zones & Pickup

Activities and times vary by age groups. Days with fieldtrips will have different schedules.

When is payment due?

Payment is due in advance for each month your child is attending camp:

  • For June camp weeks: Payment is due by June 11, 2025

  • For July camp weeks: Payment is due by June 25, 2025

You must pay for all the weeks your child is enrolled in that month by the deadline listed above.
