Summer Camp

Join us for a summer filled with fun, learning, and exploration at the Boys & Girls Clubs! Summer day camp at the Club is seven action-packed weeks, each built around a fun weekly theme that guides the activities, crafts, and spirit days. Kids enjoy a variety of engaging experiences in a safe, supportive environment, with something new to look forward to every week.

Our day camp rate covers everything—weekly field trips, breakfast, lunch, and snacks—making it easy for families and exciting for kids. Whether exploring new interests or just having a blast with friends, summer at the Club is all about making memories.

In addition to field trips, campers will enjoy sports and fitness activities, team-building games, and structured recreation. Nutritious hot breakfast and lunch are provided each day, along with snacks. View sample menus here.

*Our day camp will be closed for holidays and staff prep & training days. Weeks with closures price will be prorated for days camp is closed.

Closed: June 8-12 - Staff prep, June 19 - Juneteenth, July 3 - observation of July 4, July 28 - Staff training, August 3-7 - Staff prep.

To receive discounted Early Bird rate registration fee must be paid in full by May 31.

Space is limited.

A $25 nonrefundable deposit is required per week is due upon registration.

Drop-in Availability: To ensure space is available for a drop-in day please call ahead the day before to register.

2026 Summer Camp Weekly Themes & Field Trips

Water days: Water Days are fun-filled summer events where members can cool off with safe, supervised water games and outdoor play. Note: Water days will run week 3 - week 6. Attendance is mandatory, if you do not want your camper to attend please pick them up before 12:00pm. Tuesdays: TK-2nd Grade ; Thursdays: 3rd-5th Grade.

Spirit Days will be every Wednesday and will match each week’s theme.

Week 1 (6/15-6/18)*: Pirates Week
Campers will unearth hidden treasures this week as they learn about pirates and their lives at sea. Join us and sail into the fun!

Week 2 (6/22-6/26): Fifa Week: Soccer Clinics
Lace up your sneakers! Each morning campers will attend a special soccer camp at Redlands Sports Park, where they’ll learn foundational skills through fun, age-appropriate coaching.
Field Trip: Harkins Movie Theatres – Toy Story 5 (Grade: TK – 2nd)

Take a trip back in time during Time Travelers week where we will explore the inventions and people of the past through engaging activities and fun projects.

Lights, camera, action! Digital Film Week lets kids explore the art of filmmaking through projects that build their skills and bring their ideas to life through active learning and a trip to the capital of the industry.

During S.T.E.A.M week, Club Kids will explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math through challenges and engaging adventures.

Join us in Bikini Bottom for sponge-tastic activities inspired by the iconic yellow sponge who lives in a pineapple under-the-sea — and topped off with an ultimate end-of-summer Bikini Bottom Bash.  
Farewell Party - No field trip this week.

Teen Trip: Minglo Fun Room Trip

2026 Spring Break Camp

Spring into Art!

This Spring Break, creativity takes center stage at our Hansberger Clubhouse! Join us for two immersive weeks of hands-on artistic exploration designed to inspire imagination, build confidence, and introduce youth to the exciting world of visual arts.

Week One 3/23 - 3/27: Art Fundamentals

Campers will dive into the core principles of art — including line, color theory, shape, texture, composition, and technique. Through guided instruction and creative experimentation, participants will develop foundational skills while producing original works of art. From drawing and painting to mixed media projects, this week is all about building artistic confidence and learning the “why” behind great art.

Week Two 3/30 - 4/3: Art Around the World

Creativity knows no borders. During Week Two, campers will explore artistic traditions and cultural expressions from around the globe. Each day highlights a different region, artistic style, or historical influence, allowing youth to experience global diversity through hands-on projects. Campers will expand their cultural awareness while discovering new materials, techniques, and perspectives.

In addition to daily art enrichment, campers will enjoy sports and fitness activities, team-building games, and structured recreation. Nutritious hot breakfast and lunch are provided each day, along with snacks. View our menus here.

Winter Camp

Taking place between the Christmas and New Year holidays, our program welcomes everyone: first-time campers, returning pros, and those who haven’t visited in a while.

Week 1: Dec 22nd, 23rd, * 26th

Multi-Sport Basics & Play

This week introduces kids to the fundamentals of several popular sports through fun drills and general play. Members build confidence, stay active, and discover what they enjoy most—all while practicing teamwork and sportsmanship.


Week 2: Dec 29th, 30th, * Jan 2nd

Ground Hockey Week

Kids dive into the fast-paced fun of ground hockey, learning stick handling, passing, movement, and strategy. Whether they’re new to the sport or already love it, this week keeps them moving, laughing, and working together.


Week 3: Jan 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th

Flag Football & Super Bowl Celebration

The final week brings the excitement of flag football, with drills, friendly games, and skill-building challenges. Camp wraps up with a Super Bowl party where kids wear their favorite sports jersey and celebrate their hard work from all three weeks.

*Closed for observation of holidays on 12/24, 12/25 for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and 12/31 & 1/1 for New Years Eve and New Years Day.

Will there be scholarship/financial assistance for summer camp 2026?

Unfortunately this year we will not be able to offer scholarships/financial assistance for summer day camp.

What should my camper bring?

Campers should bring

  • Backpack

  • Refillable water bottle

  • Sport Days (see weeks & themes): sunblock & water bottle.

  • Snacks and meals are provided, but campers can bring their preferred snacks or meals.

  • TK - 1st grade are encouraged to have a change of clothes (including socks) for any spills or accidents.

What are Camp hours?

Camp hours at the Hansberger Clubhouse are 7am - 6pm.

What does a day at camp look like?

7:00 - 8:30am : Zones in Games room

8:30 - 9am : Breakfast

9 - 10am : STEM

10 - 11am : Arts & Crafts

11 -12pm : Triple Play/Sports

12 - 1pm : Lunch

1 - 2pm : Quiet Times/Zones

2 - 3pm : Project Learn

3 - 3:30pm : Snack

3:30 - 4pm : Outside Play

4 - 5pm : Staff Choice

5 - 6pm : Zones & Pickup

Activities and times vary by age groups. Days with fieldtrips will have different schedules.

I need to cancel my camp registration. Can I get a refund?

We do not offer refunds for camp registrations. However, the amount paid can be applied as a credit to your Boys & Girls Club account for use toward future programs or services.

When is payment due?

Payment is due in advance for each week your child is attending camp:

  • Payment is due 10 days before the start date of camp.

Full payment is due 10 days prior to the start date of camp. Registrations not paid in full by this deadline may be canceled, and the camper’s spot may be released to a family on the waitlist.

What are water days?

Water Days are held weekly at the Burrage Mansion in Redlands from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Members must be dropped off by 12:00 PM to attend water day.

Tuesdays: TK—Second Grade; Thursdays: Third—Fifth Grade. 

All members present at day camp will participate in Water Day activities, and staff will accompany the group to the Burrage Mansion. Members will return to the Hansberger Clubhouse for pick-up at 4:30 PM.

If you prefer that your child not participate in Water Day, please arrange for pick-up no later than 1:00 PM, as no staff will remain at the clubhouse after that time.

*Pick up will not be allowed from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM on water days; pick up must be BEFORE or AFTER. Please note that pick-up will not be available at the Burrage Mansion. 

What should my camper bring for water days?

  • Water Clothes (e.g. swimsuit)

  • Sandals or water shoes

  • Towel

  • Full change of clothes

  • Plastic bag for wet clothes

  • Reusable water bottle

  • Sunscreen (spray if possible)

Can I send my child to camp for only one day?

Yes. We offer a “Daily Drop-In” option for $50 per day. Please call one day in advance to check availability, as space is limited.

Can my child attend camp after 2 PM for free with their membership?

Yes. Members may attend after 2 PM at no additional cost as part of their annual membership. Space is limited, so please call at least 30 minutes in advance to check availability.

Can my camper attend field trips?

Field trips are planned based on age-appropriate grade groups, using the previous school year grade level as a guide.

To participate in a field trip, campers must:

  • Attend the Club at least 3 days per week

  • Submit a signed permission slip at least 2 days before the trip

  • Maintain good behavior at camp

  • Arrive to the Clubhouse at least 45 minutes before departure

Some field trips may require an additional fee, which will be noted on the permission slip.

Campers are required to wear the summer camp shirt supplied by the Club on all field trips.

What should my camper not bring?

No technology is allowed at Summer Camp, that includes tablets, switches and phones — teens are the exception for phones. The Boys & Girls Clubs are not responsible for lost or broken items. 

Campers should not bring money for field trips unless specifically mention in the permission slip.
