Join us as we unveil a new, innovative space designed for teens to create and connect!
In today’s world, where social media often replaces real connection, young people are losing access to third spaces, a place outside of home and school essential to social development and self-discovery, safe, supportive environments allowing them to explore their interest and form friendships.
That’s where the Boys & Girls club comes in.
Introducing the The Garner Holt Teen Innovation Center, the first of its kind in the region to offer a hands-on, skill building space where teens can try new things. They have access to 3D printing, Esports, PC building, graphic design, and Adobe workshops;opening doors to opportunities they may not have considered.
At a time when more than one million teens in America are not in school or working, spaces like this matter more than ever.
And we can already see the impact:
4 in 5 Club teens show interest in science, computers, and technology; many are considering futures in STEM.
